Welcome Message

Welcome to St Louis de Montfort’s Catholic Parish Primary School community.
We trust that your association with the school will be both happy and rewarding.

The time your child will spend in Primary education is a most significant period in your child’s life and in the life of your family.

Catholic education looks at the whole person. For children, education primarily occurs in the home. This is particularly true of the spiritual growth of your child. The Catholic school, as part of the parish, supports and complements the family in this development. Therefore, the full benefit of the Catholic school occurs when you enable the school, the family and parish to work in harmony to create a true environment for faith and personal development.

The school works closely with the parents and the parish in the practical carrying out of this harmony. You will notice that the school is only one side of a triangle, not the whole triangle. Indeed, the Catholic school forms part of the parish community, and therefore your child’s enrolment implies your active participation and belonging to this community.

We recognise that parents make an important contribution to the education of their children and welcome their active involvement and participation in the life of the school and the educational programs offered.

The staff of St Louis de Montfort’s will work in partnership with you in nurturing your child’s development. We will guide, support and assist your child in every possible way and take a genuine interest in your child’s welfare.

This website is designed to assist you in becoming familiar with the operation of our school so that you are able to support and encourage us in the education of your child.

It is critical that you develop a sense of trust and belonging with your school and display an open support for it. Evidence suggests that whenever parents are actively involved in their children’s education, educational outcomes are maximised.
